QAT Investments is a dynamic, constantly learning organization. Each project we consider, carry out and conclude contributes to our combined experience and allows for new projects to be taken on. Besides being experienced board members and shareholders, our partners are passionate people who want to do business, reap success and grow.

QAT Investments’ funds were set up by entrepreneurs. They aim to support ventures with a clear vision and a proven technology that are unable to realize their full potential on their own accord. After careful analysis and by using an active, involved approach QAT Investments opens up this underlying value by the combined commitment of financial support, administrative strength and commercial skills.

These are precisely the foundation on which QAT Investments based its entrepreneurial and investment principles.

Combined, the QAT/QMG partners have established and advanced over 50 companies. Together they represent more than 250 years of experience in senior management positions. Apart from all other advantages, this broad experience has made our cost-conscious. We keep salary costs and overhead as low as possible, so that practically all available resources can be applied for our participations. In doing so, we serve a mutual interest, as QAT-partners themselves invested 80% of the total capital of the fund.

Name

Q.A.T. is an abbreviation of ‘Quercus Aimer Trust’, a combination of Latin and English words, which constitutes the full name of our private equity firm and at the same time reflects the philosophy of the founders.

'Quercus' is the Latin name for oak, a tree renowned for its magnificence, toughness, hardiness and life span. Not without cause, our ancestors attributed supernatural strengths to the tree. At QAT Investments, holding both legs firmly on the ground, we translate these properties into experience, reliability, honesty and strength.

The acronym  'Aimer' (Analysis, Investment, Management, Enabling & Return) describes our 'modus operandi'. Potential participations are thoroughly analyzed by means of our investment criteria. As soon as analysis leads to investment one or more QAT-partners take management responsibility at a level where they can provide a significant contribution. Resulting in an excellent return on investment.

'Trust' finally represents both the material vehicle that we have chosen for our investments and the immaterial confidence that we receive and give to investors and the ventures we participate in. Trust that is to be converted into strong added values and a firm contribution to the material well being of all parties involved.
